Eric: Re; <<Someday not too distant ATHM will be in the top tier of best known and most owned "internut" stocks: AOL, YHOO, AMZN & ATHM>>

I hear you loud and clear, but don't necessarily agree that the stocks you mention and other 'nut' stocks will be flying high by 2QTR '99 ...some of them are so top heavy that many stockholders will find themselves riding these stocks down to '98 lows...AMZN may be the first to blow off! My rationale is based on past experience of previous hot sectors such as the biotechs, Disk Drive Makers, and some health care co's of which only a small group of companies are making it!

The other rationale is that product life cycles are very short lived; therefore, T, WCOM, GTE, and others will be touting new ventures ... ATHM/TCI fills a void and will do a great job (pending quick Malone cleaning/reorg), but something else will come along -- and quickly!

Let's enjoy the ride on ATHM but let's not get blind sighted by sheer fantasy...some of these stocks are trading based on 5+ years projected revenues and potential profits...but will they last? The big global guys like T and WCOM will, of course, but they drive the technology ... and ATHM/Roadrunner happen to provide a technology of choice--at least for today and tomorrow!

On a more positive note, thanks to the many bears out there...means stocks will continue to move higher! But any negative QTLY earnings SURPRISES may rock the boat!

Yes, I'd like to see ATHM $200 by year end based on VALUE -- not hype!
