<<<< WHERE ARE THE BAGELS???? <<<< As you well know, the tax lox and bagel special at $3/8 was a December special only. The biggest seller now seems to be garlic bagels. Eat a few of these and no one will want to ..........touch your stock. Mr. D. and I will shortly be franchising the Raisin Bagel kiosk. We will put them in companies where there are known to be COBOL programmers. No matter how you slice these bagels, the raisins align themselves forming the URL of a certain web site known to present enticing prospects for job hoppers and consultants. The bad news is that our Y2K bagels are hardly moving. Seems no one wants them. We think that about October there will be renewed interest but what to do until then? Hope to offer Fully Filed Bagels in February. If all goes well these will be priced at $15 the dozen. If things don't work out, we will have trouble giving them away. But of course they can be sold as toast.
