I don't underestimate the power of Wal-Mart. And, margins are already rotten on Web e-commerce.

However, just because Wal-Mart enters the fray doesn't mean the game is over. A brand name outside the Web does not automatically confer Web acceptance. If it did, then Barnes and Noble would be doing more business on-line than Amazon, and Disney would be calling its new portal Disney.com or ABCportal.com instead of Go.com.
