You are only able to do half-duplex communications probably because you don't have a full-duplex soundcard.

net2phone.com
Net2Phone enables any Internet user with a sound-equipped PC to initiate calls from a computer and transmit them over the Internet to Net2Phone's telephone switches. These switches automatically relay the call to its final destination -- any telephone. The result is real time, uninterrupted, full duplex voice communication between two parties.

What is the quality of Net2Phone?
Net2Phone offers True Phone Quality (TPQ), virtually indistinguishable from traditional telephones. The overall quality will vary based upon your Internet connection + your ISP's connection speed.

Will Net2Phone work with a connection other than 28.8?
Generally, the faster your connection, the better the quality of your Net2Phone call.

Hope this helps,
Ron
