MG -- WOW

I always enjoy your perspective. DJ, JT and yourself seem to have a foot in each world. Fortunately, I've was able to enjoy hundreds of robins buzzing around the backyard this past week. Then, of course, there are the lizards running around the lanai, which is always fun to watch. A pleasant distraction.

I don't watch anything with a laugh track. Most of the times these days I keep CNBC muted, as I find that the talking heads just distract me.

While I expected a strong January, this week's strength surprised me, particularly the strength of the DJIA cyclicals. As to the internutz, one can only watch in amazement! But, I equally believe that the sector leaders equally represent tulip mania. I've got a friend that had a 101% gain last year, only holding GE, CSCO and ORCL in his Buy and Hold portfolio.

The baby-boomers have affected everything from marbles and hula hoops to the 80's housing price surge. Why should we not expected that equities would be any different?

Ride the Wave, but watch for the rip-tide!
