I am sorry but I can not use a public forum to discuss what I would do with an employee who made a mistake. Also, I am disgusted that a place exists where people (I am not referring to you Shootfirst) can make accusations without proof. Where you can tell lies and there is no accountability. This is not what freedom of speech is all about.
Fane Lozmans comments are mostly lies and twisted truths. In 1993, he asked me to help him get his ScanShift project off the ground. Like most everything else I try, I work hard on it. In return he gave me shares in a Company I helped him start called Blue Water Partners.
At the time Terra Nova had 3 employees including me. He was not one of them. I gave him free workspace in my office where he could pursue his dream of making ScanShift a success. I put up the money for him to get his patent. I paid the lawyer bills. I even signed a guarantee on a lease so he could have a decent roof over his head. He did not introduce me to the Townsends, he did suggest I call them to introduce us. That's how I met them. He and I met the Townsend's for the first time together. He was right they were good, very good.
Yes ScanShift was on some influential trader's desks, I know, I made the presentations that sold it to them. Several months into the project his behavior in Terra Nova's office became outrageous. Not only did I believe he was going to ruin Blue Water I was also concerned he was going to kill Terra Nova in the process. So, I told him I was through, I wanted nothing more to do with him. He went even crazier. If I remember correctly the police arrested him on four complaints, stalking, harassment, assault and intimidation. I have the police reports in my files.
He got off the hook for his promise in writing, to leave me alone. He also promised in writing to never discuss his relationship with Terra Nova Trading or me. He is obviously not a person who keeps his word. He also signed a promissory note to pay back money he owed me. I gave him my shares in Blue Water Partners. That's it, the whole story the rest is either irrelevant or lies.
He is the liar and the fake. Don't believe me, just try getting involved with him. I am not the only businessman in Chicago who wishes he never met the man. You might also try police departments in several states if you need more convincing. Or talk to anyone who ever backed a trading account he traded. Or better yet, try funding one for him. Maybe he will take you to the floor of the Chicago Merc. You can watch him trade, and be prepared to learn his philosophy on trading; Real men don't trade one-z's or two-z's, real men trade 20's and 50's. Don't learn to walk before you run, all that matters is that people fear you. And than when you stop him, just before you run out of money you can learn for yourself what it's like to be involved with Fane Lozman. |
