Talked to someone that spent this New Years in Vegas. Enough to convince me to stay away next year (and the year after). Staying home is nice, and probably best. I guess it was the romantic streak in me, thinking of sunset on a deserted island or some such trash...a food supply and a few bottles of wine...the right people in small numbers; or perhaps a restaurant privately catered, with the soft tinkle of the piano escorting couples (less than twenty) around the floor. I don't know. Its just another day like any other; yet we are the ones that give value to our days, and it could be made very special! (as, of course, could any other...)
