Treating AMZN like a stock with a 'value' has burned many on the way up. I can live with easy come, easy go.

But I was at a party recently where a crowd gathered to hear a guy talk about the money he had made on AMZN. He bought a Vette as a result, but borrowed the money for the car cause he didn't want to miss the next big move. Fully margined. He is in his thirties, wife and two kids. They are waiting for him to have enough for a house. What will he tell them when ten years of savings and all the dreams are gone? What will happen to his family?

And the crowd around him at the party? They all wanted 'in' on this.
