When abortion is legal, it's legal. I don't think it's ever less than tragic. It's not a reasonable means of birth control, since there are so many safer alternatives. Somebody who doesn't want children can take out 100% effective insurance against pregnancy and if that isn't acceptable he or she can just say no. As for Pol Pot and Hitler, I am not convinced they qualify as human, Y chromosome or no. Certainly they were evil.
