I agree with you that EBAY is wildly overvalued. The end will not come because of competition; they have competition, everyone knows it, and nobody seems to care. Nor is YHOO to be feared--YHOO is not likely to take on EBAY head on; it has learned not to stray too far from its core business (compare YHOO's stock message boards to SI--YHOO's are primitive!). No, EBAY will collapse when EBAY shows that ongoing auction numbers are not increasing. Then, there will be a panic, and all auction stocks will plummet. Also on that day: AOL, and YHOO will temporarily follow EBAY down. Those last 2 will recover. EBAY won't.
