Trading Places normally has over a hundred people online (up 'till three or four weeks ago - then they removed the online count, so I don't know how many are subscribed now). It's a great "team" place, where all contribute, but "Merlin" is the leader - and he lets you know it. Merlin is a great trader, makes picks long before they move and has a remakable hit ratio. When trading is slow, there's a lot of banter which helps me considerably to learn, but when trading picks up it's all business. You will get great picks prior to the stock moving, but it's really up to you to figure out when to get in and out. Occasionally when a stock is on a real run (for example - RNWK on Fri) Merlin will lead the complete run, from buy to sell. And it is an adrenelin filled moment. I trade full-time now - and am making a great return. And I am truly an amateur at this stuff. I often wonder if I just got lucky finding this room, or are there other rooms out there with similar successes??? Don't really matter though - no need to fix what ain't broke ;-)
