When considering the over-hype and premature interest in mlre, bear in mind that this thread started just after uBid began its amazing ascent (IPO on 12/4). Has anyone considered the fact that this all happened not because they were trying a pump and dump, but rather to ride the coattails of the phenomenon, figuring that its certainly coulnd't hurt to promoted mlre when internet auctions were a hot topic, even thought the site wasn't up and ready, rather than wait until the auction interest was played out. Maybe, just maybe, this whole discussion was just an unfortunate unintended consequence of a timing call that went a little awry for an otherwise viable company that was otherwise not yet ready for public comment.
