There doesn't seem to be any complaint on this thread for the last two years. Maybe somebody is still reading it, here is my Charles Schwab story.

1) They got my SSN wrong, and never fixed it despite my requests
2) They merged my account with someone else's account, and made this joint account into a trust account.
3) In this new account, Schwab started buy funds with my money.
4) I complained, they set me up with a new account for me. I was told that every thing is fine now.
5) They didn't tell me that I couldn't use my checks, I called to verify that I have to wait for new a check book.
6) In this newly created account, they started buying funds with out my request again. I told them to stop doing it.
7) The new account they set up is not a Schwab One account as I have had before.
8) Then they froze my new account from trading, because their Internal Document Review group couldn't find my paper works for my new account.
8) I called Schwab's chair hot line. The problem is finally fixed.

Adding everything together, I made about 30 to 40 phone calls. And it took a great amount of my time. I am going to close my account with Schwab and file complaint with the SEC.
