Well, I don't have any information to add about the Scientology connection with EarthLink, but it is a Southern California company, and there are definitely a lot of Scientologists there. That doesn't mean this company has zero potential, however. I have been a subscriber for quite some time, and I can tell you after trying MOST ISP's for very short times, that EarthLink is a really excellent one. Everything works!! When you have a technical question, someone will spend as much time as it takes with you on the telephone, toll-free, 24 hours a day. One tech support person spent 45 minutes with me!! Their newsletter is informative, and they are constantly expanding their services. All this for $19.95 a month, and I have NEVER had a problem getting online, regardless of the time of day. To me, these are indications of a well-run company. Isn't that what you should be looking for in an ISP? Christine
