It doesn't quite work that way. Study up on any of the 'Great Scams', watch the thread activity vs. actual time SEC moves in. You'll see why this doesn't work the way you describe. But&#151you did write it well&#151it's a very nice, fanciful, and pretty description of 'The Perfect Way' it ought to be in Utopia. &#147If jhild has information that could cause the sec to suspend trading then he should present that information to the sec. The sec would then, if his evidence is strong enough, halt trading. This would do 2 things, allow the company to answer any questions that need answering and serve notice that the sec is watching.&#148
