What was wrong with the Norm van Brocklin, Bob Waterfield, Crazylegs Hirsch, Tom Fears, Glenn Davis, etc. teams. Oops, before your time, huh? Goal posts on the goal line, all black and white TV games. Anyone remember when the ball carrier could get up and run even after being tackled? You had to hold him down until the ref blew the whistle. And, the ground could cause a fumble!
