Lifeway's website is looking good. I just visited Lifeway's homepage and I saw a few changes. They are now advertising their Kefir Starter Culture online saying that it can be ordered directly from the company and they are also selling a book about kefir as well called 'Kefir Rediscovered'.

They will also soon have a page that lists all the stores that carry Lifeway's kefir and they ask if the store you go to doesn't carry Lifeway kefir to ask the store to carry it and if you don't want to do that you are encouraged to email Lifeway and they will call the store for you.

This has a feel for more aggressiveness in trying to sell their products and I like to see it. I think it is a great idea to utilize the the internet in whatever capcity to get their products moving more. The address they list is called,
Lifeway Foods - Online Store

I would really like to see this grow into an actual online store where you can buy right off of the internet. If they were to develop a probiotic supplement line for both humans and pets, kefir soaps and cosmetics then those would be great products to sell from the internet and ship because no refrigeration would be required. Plus we would be talking about high margins as well. I can't think of any other products at the moment that could be developed based on kefir and sold online. Anybody have any other ideas?

The website also has a couple of recipes for their Farmer's cheese. This could be expanded to include a whole slew of recipes from salad dressing to dips to cheese cake. Their website is very informative.
