But I am not in. Work is crazy right now, so I missed my chance
to enter. I am trying to concentrate on too many thing at once
right now.

Comments on VTSS call:

The first evidence of a recovery of the SEMI-EQUIP and SEMI
companies. I have more detailed notes on paper, but those are
the highlights.

From your comments, I take it that MOT is going to have a good
quarter. Is that broadly based across most divisions? Paging
is still weak if GEMS if any indication. I read an article
about the weak brand name wins of MOT in the handset market.
I have no feel for their sales to the auto-sector. Wireless
base station wins must still be a problem because of their
use of third party switches.

Any feel for the rumor of MOT taking over ALA? It doesn't
sound reasonable since ALA still has those old nuclear
power plants to deal with and the French government is not
going to let them divest.

We should run strong in the telco sector till ADTN earnings
next week. After that some of the mystery will be dispelled
and we should see selective profit taking. ComNet is later
this month so that should give LU and NT a push later in the
month.

The lastest news from the CES. I have not have a chance to look
this over. Post if you see anything of interest.
