It seems like a lot of reverse-logic, reverse-business going on. Amazon could use their market cap, but they can't. Border's (or probably most any company's)cap wouldn't give them the leverage to offer anything close to what Amazon is capped at now.
I cannot rationally justify Amazon's stock price, but at some point their management is going to have to do something to move from a pure internet play, in my opinion.
Anything to add? Amazon's growth (at least their stock's growth) may be their own worst enemy right now, somewhat analagous to what can happen when a mutual fund grows too large.
