I can understand your
opinion and to some degree agree with you toward AMZN, but the realty is that just
because you believe your thought is right, doesn't mean you make any money on it. In
fact, your "correct" opinion has caused you dearly, more than $500/per share in total I
guess? You come here to make money, right? Why you were so stubborn to lose your
OWN money to fight for so-called "valuation"?

MB,

You are pointing out the lesson that has cost me dearly. I agree with everything you say and this huge cost has at least taught me something.

As I said before, even if your opinion
proves to be correct by year 2002 and AMZN drops to $10, were you be able to survive
until then to make your loss back?

I admit to have been "stupid" fighting the tape. I believed incorrectly, that my pockets were deep enough to withstand however high AMZN would go. I di not know when it would break down and apparently it has not yet. That lesson is over except I still have enough equity to remain in the game long or short or with other stocks. It feels very badly to have lost the amount I lost. I also feel stupid.

It still remains that I did not lose all my equity so I have a chance to make money in the market and reduce my losses either through AMZN long or short or other firms. I am gun shy in that I have a firhgt now of equity loss. My risk tolerance has decreased quite significantly and I tent to panic too easily. I need to step back and watch from the sidelines a bit to regain self confidence.

I also thank all those bullish posters that recommended I cover my short. I am not the type to follow the heard and I did not listen but I was wrong.
