Chuzz, ok you have certainly made your case regarding amzn but if you recall I am not advocating buying them here either. Im a little more optimistic than you regarding their future but the problem is the stock is so overblown it could take years to catch up to itself.

Having said that, my original point (which I dont think you take issue with - do you?) is that looking at amzn and saying, "they spend 40million/year on infrastructure tech, therefore barriers to entry are low" is invalid. Even if 40million/year is chump change to walmart.com, there is no guarantee they can pull it off. Dell people should agree on this because weve been making this case against cpq etc for a while.
