The one historical bubble that comes to mind, and I have previously posted about, is the oil exploration stock craze which ended in 1980,
when one fine day around Thanksgiving all 10 of the most active NASDAQ stocks were penny oil exploration stocks you never heard of -- and were all out of business before long.
