[ What seems to be left out is the fact that 50% of people have NOTHING. Why? In my judgment, because it is TOO DAMN COMPLICATED for the average person to understand a PC let alone utilize even 10% of its possibilities.]

I agree and Scott seemed to agree today on the Money Show when he said that he wanted to make the network open to everyone who has absolutely nothing.

He did not explicitly say that most people found the PC difficult to operate but I believe you could imply that from his comments when he said the network should be available to people who do not use the library, who cannot get to the library, who do not have a car, and who have NOTHING! He believes the network should improve everyone's standard of living.

He said we should not be forced to buy Windows. I agree because we are forced to buy WINDOWS if we want to communicate with others.

He said we do not think about the operating system in our electronic appliances so why should be have to worry about the operating system in our computers.

Wouldn't it be nice if we did not have to spend so much time fine-tuning the PC's operating system?
