Actually I think the talk here is MUCH more interesting than what you get anywhere in the real world- so I think the information age has been a real boon to all us pretenders to philosophy. I went to the Unitarian Church today for the first time and was very disappointed in the level of the discussion. I thought this morning, as I sat there bored and uncomfortable,- I might just as well have had a discussion with someone on Feelies about religion. Some people here engage in mindless babble, but most don't. I don't know how much of this thread you have actually read, but you couldn't call LAther, Steve, Penni, or Nihil's comments mindless.
