Yes, the specifics do help. Have left a message for the TC salesman to discuss the order. I think I'll leave the memory alone as what I ordered is $199 & would serve if I do drop in another processor at a later date. I think I'll probably need a bigger case which is ok, & will ask about the fan.
Evidently they do have a 400 celeron (as well as a 333). The 333 is $225. At my level of expertise it might be better to get the 400 celeron & not o.c. it :-)
Anyway, I can't believe I've gone from deciding a new computer would be better than a $700 multimonitor card to sifting through to a computer that has speed, 128mb memory & 5 slots for (possibly) not much more than $1000. Yikes again, & thanks to all for the input!! d. alexander
