Ratios such as these are meaningless when comparing the House to the Senate. I think you'll see many more Dem Senators reject the rabid partisan party-line voting that you witnessed in the House.

The Dem Senators will understand that it'll be VERY difficult explaining to their electorate that it's OK for the POTUS, and certain of his cronies, to commit perjury and obstruct justice but, if Joe/Jane 6-pack does it, they're going to the slammer. Kind of a two-tier justice system... one for the elite, and one for the masses. "Let them eat cake"... and all that crap.
