SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Osicom Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq Small Cap: FIBR) today said that an article in the Sunday January 26, 1997 edition of The London Daily Telegraph mentioning an officer and a director of the company is completely bogus and part of a vicious campaign by short-sellers to damage the company and its shareholders.
"Neither of the people mentioned in this article has any idea what this newspaper is talking about," said Par Chadha, chief executive officer of the company. "This story is a complete fabrication. We have directed our attorneys to contact the Daily Telegraph at the opening of business tomorrow and demand a retraction as well as to request an investigation."
"One would think that a publication like the Daily Telegraph would verify information like this before they publish it. The newspaper has obviously been used." SOURCE Osicom Technologies, Inc.
