It seems the new year has brought us some new threaders; welcome one and all (as well as your research, opinions, questions and ideas) After a slow start to the week and year, CA shares did some fantastic work this week. This performance was much more than merely performing in-line with its high tech brethren; it broke through some key resistance and with the kind of volume that suggests a possible breakout.

Anyone familiar with my opinion of CA knows I never think it's a good idea to sell a core holding such as this. But doing so now could mean leaving large sums on the table.

This chart tells the story:

Happy New Year, wise investing, and timely trades to all.
