Sorry Chief , and you other guys too .... somehow i am getting more
and more .....

ok here it goes ...

first you need an IRC client , which is a program that let you connect to the IRC ... there is a lot of them on the net to
download , some are for free some are around $10 - 20 Us.
the best for PC in my eyes are PIRCH , MIRC ,VIRC .. try to look at

tucows.com or www.sloughterhouse.com or just try Yahoo
and in a search look for IRC client ... once when you have downloaded
and instaled you are in a business ..
the instalation is pretty straight forward and for PIRCH or MIRC
well documented as well , don't know any other from my experience
because i am using only pirch and mirc for years now ...
once where you are finished with the instalation you have to look
in servers which are preinstaled in software ... there is a plenty
different nets out there undernet, dalnet, skynet and so on .. all of them have some servers preinstaled .. what you are looking for is EFNET and for servers which i wrote earlier but here it is again

irc.cifnet.com port 6667
irc.anet-chicom 6667
irc.stealth.net 6667

port 6667 is the one which used in 95 % and it a default in those clients ... if the client which you downloaded has not any of those 3
in it just type it in ...
after you get connected to the irc server then you write from the beggining of the line
/join #casi that will put you into the channel ...

some PIRCH have this replaced by just /j cs if you put # in front of casi it will take you to a new channel which you just created
the name on the top will looks like ##casi ... what you want is
#casi .. but this is in description what their command is
in a case you get lost after you connect to a server just type
/help and it will give you a list of commands which yiu can perform
or /help join and it will give you a description what/how

hope this is about all what you need if you have any othere question
please ask here or PM ...

BTW if anyone is using Mac the client name is ircle i think ...
rest of it will be same ...

good luck and if you need help i will be here at least other 4 to 5 hours ... to much to do .. 8-(( ....
