Frank,
Anyone who is paying 2% in and 2% out in this day and age deserves to get taken. There are several flat fee brokerages both online and offline that make commission concerns a thing of the past. My commission on 600 shares of Intel (at a much lower price than now <gg) was $29; if I were to sell it today, my online commission would be $15.
