X, Or Bob's! I have told you the real truth about God and Christianity. Going to a cult church like you did won't get you any closer to the truth. You would be uncomfortable at a fundamentalist christian church also. But God would have a chance to reach out to you in a real way. The problem in general is to find people who really know God and have some sense. There are too many whacky churches, I must confess. Like the one that has the godhatesfags web site. It's unbelievable. I would want to go to a christian church that was mature and nonpolitical. After all, regardless of Christine's assertions, Jesus was nonpolitical. He is forward looking, not at all concerned with trying to fix a doomed system here. My mothers funeral was at a Catholic Church as she was Catholic. There was something comforting and familiar there, maybe just a childhood throw back. I wish you success in your search for the truth. Bob
