Actually, I'm still in the studying stage and have never bought on-line before (except that the other day I ordered "Lost & Found" from Power Quest--a utility that retrieves erased data on your hard-drive. Note to Zeuspaul: The dos 6.2 program "unformat" only works if your drive is FAT16--it wouldn't "see" my drive. Thanks for the referral to Power Quest!).

I think Zeuspaul's answer sums it pretty well, but I'm still curious whether there are any real performance advantages of the "genuine" PII over the overclocked Celeron. I'll start by scanning the various reviews on the tech sites.
