Seems there are pretty much two kinds of SI members: those who see it as strictly business, and those who see it as business and fun. I'd be sorry to see the former win out. The SITMs turned the XICO thread into a wasteland of lengthy technical posts, earnings prognostications (inaccurate, as it recently turned out) and nothing else.

And I don't think self-rating would work either: a great many people think that anything at all they say is of the utmost importance.

What narks ME most are the people who can't be bothered to read any preceding posts, but just jump in with questions that have been answered dozens of times. The all-time favorite: when will earnings be released?

However, I can live with this, and they can just put up with my own idiocies.

So there.
