The manipulators had their chance to short-sell the 6% of MU stock that will be allocated at Thursday's shareholder's meeting and they jumped at it. The beginning of the year is supposed to be good for a rally as new IRA and 401K money comes in, etc. I'd say that 15M phantom shares came out of the Micron vault one way or another over the past four days and have been properly distributed to the speculative (nee investing) public. So the vault is short 15M shares. When they vote to allocate 15M shares this coming Thursday, abra cadabra, they'll just go back into the vault. The hard work of talking up the company to drum up interest in these extra shares is all done now.
