EC, I managed to track down the info on Matchewan. The HB mill is rated for 5,000 tpd: royal-oak-mines.com I still have not had a definitive answer on the mill location status; but I suspect that the mill is under C & M at Hope Brook. With the cheap phone rates (AT&T free in NFLD this month, Newtel deals) it is hard to get through. EC, can you tell me if there is a map of the EXL/GME/SAS area available on the Web? The closest thing I have is the NM Handbook. I skipped church today to review all 68 posts on the St. Andrews SI thread. Made for very interesting reading. At $25 per ton someone is hauling in the money. How do you see SAS going into production with their production contracted out to GME/EXL? I would speculate that SAS could solve a lot of problems (save beaucoup de visage) for both parties if they could use their mill to bring both of the warring factions together at the altar? The HB (5,000 tpd) or other mill of equivalent throughput could also save the day. Am I getting close to the source of the fire? Cheers Winzer
