4 hours out ($20), matinee at $3.50 a pop ($7), popcorn and soda at half price on the frequent viewer card (say $6), then a $35-$40 dinner (no appetizers or dessert, soft drinks with free refills) at, say, Outback. Last night we splurged and went to a pool hall for 30 minutes before the movie. The extra $4 was worth it!
