You forget that your measly vote counts for little, nor any PAC you belong to. I have lobbyists on my payroll, they cut deals with Congressmen on issues you haven't even considered. I'd wager that more laws are passed by your representatives working with lobbyists than any representation of your views or the people who agree with you politically. Lobbying is fun. You see, no matter what state you live in, you can only write your Congressman. You cannot really influence those of any other state -- unless you have lobbyists working for you. That, Steve, is the real behind-the-scenes work in Wonderland, D.C.

As to fantasies, nothing I have shared with you is a fantasy. Perhaps you would like that, but I thought we were dealing with reality here.
