Gateway just pulled the V2's off their configure your own pc pages! They have yet to name their generic 16MB 2D/3D card (which is Banshee) although the nVidia card is named - at the same price as the generic. Called their order line and got transferred to accessories. Rep. told me that they don't know why this was done - "It's one of their most popular options". I'm getting bad vibes from all this. Could it be that these guys are pulling the plug on TDFX cards now fearing the effects of TDFX's merger announcement - CREAF and DIMD may not be a reliable supplier? Banshee at the same price or higher than the TNT, "one of the most popular upgrades" no longer featured, what's going on here? I guess they could be transitioning to STB but to be honest I don't like this one bit. Joe C.
