Richard,
You have committed a faux pas in my eyes by posting my private message to you in a public forum.
I will no longer relate to you here or on any thread.
That was quite uncalled for considering the inflamatory comments you made. I have to question your definition of "something hot".
Your statement:
I my well offer them something hot!!!! They are not my "faithful National Guard". Those who do not love the Constitution or Freedom will find no friend with-in these doors.
Frank, they are YOUR national guard. The history of the National Guard dates back to the original frontier militiamen that MADE IT POSSIBLE for this country to have a constitution.
The constitution does not solely belong to you, Richard. I swore an oath to defend the constitution from all threats foreign and domestic and so does every other person who serves in the military and political office.
I am now a civilian, but there is no doubt that in times of a national emergency where social cohesion and order was threatened by Y2K related disruptions or any other natural disaster, I would be supportive of the proper and authorized deployment of the military to provide aid, security, and assistance to civilian agencies and citizens.
I don't pretend to understand what your true political beliefs are, despite your claims of love for the constitution and economic freedom. Frankly I don't care.
But what you said in your statement above was uncalled for.
But even more, when I took the time and effort to answer you privately, you made those comments public. Apparently you have a different agenda for being out here and I, frankly, have no desire to help you further it.
Ron
