Dipy, the major media tried to paint a picture of Buchanan as some kind of radical. Actually his views are pretty tame. The reason he didn't win the nomination was not because of his views on morality. It had much more to do with his unwavering protectionistic economic philosophy. I believe he is totally wrong on that and why I will never support him. I consider myself a Conservative/Libertarian. And a believer in the economic philosophies of Milton Friedman. Alan Keyes combines both the moral message, with the Reagan belief that American industry can compete anywhere on the globe if given the chance. Either person will have a field day against the dry boring rocket scientist Al Gore. :-) I look forward to his monotone debates, where every word is carefully coached like a robot. Actually that describes a lot of the liberals mentality too. A bunch of robots who can find nothing at all wrong in supporting a President who has repeatedly committed perjury and obstruction of justice. Michael
