Since I don't have an(income producing) job, I've played with house money since June of 1997. Have been fortunate to be constrained from selling Dell stock by the tax considerations.
I seldom even think about it now, so one less worry........
Best I can do today is reshuffle assets from one 'play'
stock to another or reinvest options as they come due.
This week I need to decide when to cash out or roll the Jan options on LU,Athm,Orcl,Amzn,lycos,Qwst,and Dell.
I am expecting( hoping for) another 6 points on Dell this week. So in the case of Dell, the Jan 70's calls cost $2, are now $8,
could become worth $12. I may settle for a bit less on 1/2 of those,
and place an order to sell at about $10, then keep the others till Friday. So will be busy(hehe)
Thanks for commenting on Athm on the thread, the Athm calls
have gone from $7 to $31.
(notice that I seldom talk about losers, but with the market going up there aren't many(G)
I'll wager we can't buy Asnd for less than 77 tomorrow, but it may be worth a try (ggg)
