OT: The internut stocks... So far as I can discern, everyone that is saying the Internet stocks will go higher are basing 99% of that analysis on past performance. I will tell you right now that there is absolutely no justification for Amazon to be worth 25 Billion dollars. Barnes and Noble, the worlds largest bookseller, has a market cap 10 times smaller. If 3dfx had a market cap of 10 times the market leader (ATI) the stock price would be about...$1,500...per share. This head-in-the-sand style of investing is also know as the "greater fool " theory. I've even seen the argument used on this board:, "I know it's overpriced, but there is always a moron bigger than I am ready to buy this stock." When the day or reckoning comes, and it will come, I won't shed a tear for those led or leading others to their ignorant financial ruin. Pat
