anthony-- only 40/month for video? i pay almost double that, and so do a lot of people. the cost of ADSL from what i have seen so far will about 60-70/month and include vox service. as a side note, something that may very well render both cable modems and ADSL moot, has anyone taken a serious look at AT&Ts angel? i thought it was shelved by armstrong until someone told me about an article in business week about it recently. if they start deploying that, all bets are off. additionally, someone posted here a few months ago that AT&Ts one rate wireless may be a real threat to landlines. i agree. the scenario could very well play out with a wireless connection for vox and a cable connection for data/video. will be interesting to see how this all plays out. good luck to all, trey
