Not to sound cocky, but I have an engineering degree. I did calculas. Did well, and I loved it. Now I've tried to do the 'Things' calculus, and I'm stumped. It's time to go back to school. Don't you think?

Thats a good degree to have. I have an engineering degree also, James.

Say, do you know who this guy named Jay Pearlman is?

He is the senior enforcement official relating to Internet stocks for the securities and exchange commission. I was asked to call him and help explain the calculus behind this stock doing so well.

Would you like to have his pager number? It appears his office is becoming very excited in understanding this new calculus that justifies this stock's valuation.

Can you help me come up with an accurate mathematical model demonstrating this stock's valuation? I'm actually quite interested in detailing in full the mathematics behind the Bezos miracle.

I think it would be very interesting for all to see how an engineer can construct a momentum machine. Say, don't you have to be qualified to judge yourself as righteous before you engineer these sorts of things?

Oh well, what do I know.

Regards,

-- Eric
