I believe this is the quicken.com feature. I never heard a time frame on when the service would be available. Seems pretty quick, but not impossible. What do you think?

Looking at the internet phone from Alcatel, it's like what they said in the dialog, "Why hasn't someone thought of it before". I guess what they need to ask is how can we find people who can afford it?

Mostly, you have to ask what it does that a computer on the net doesn't do. I didn't read the whole thing though.

I think the issue of how these things can work requires some changes in how we handle phone lines, and of course higher bandwidth. Sprint had some plans to remove the concept of phone numbers or connections and just go for bandwith charges. Then, you could multiplex all these services through one line.

We shall see.
