I think it's a downmarket version of 8810. Sliding cover and compact size at a lower price. But there's no concrete info - Nokia is being as secretive as ever. The big question is whether the first hybrid phone will arrive in 1999 and whether it's GSM-900-1900 or GSM/TDMA or something even more exotic. The coming wave of US/Euro operator mergers means that phones operating in both USA and Europe will become hot property this year.
