Rollout of Digital Home Theater Unaffected by Court Action

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 27, 1997-- Projectavision Inc said today that a recently announced court decision involving litigation with a former disgruntled employee will have no effect on the company's current operations.

The company said claims made in the press by the ex-employee that Projectavision is "barred" from using its patents are absolutely false.

Marvin Maslow, chairman of Projectavision, said, "The Digital Home Theater(TM) product introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas does not use the inventions in the patents assigned to the
company by our former employee Eugene Dolgoff. We are proceeding as planned."
