Oracle Corporation Offers Mid-Sized Manufacturers Fast
Implementation of Manufacturing and Financial Software
for Less than $18K Per Month

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Oracle Corp. today announced the
availability of customized financing plans to help customers immediately begin implementing the
newly-announced FastForward Manufacturing Rapid Preconfigured Model (RPM) solution. The
financing plans, available through Oracle Financing Division (OFD), are specifically designed to make
this solution affordable to mid-sized manufacturing companies.

Oracle's FastForward Manufacturing RPM includes Oracle's industry-leading manufacturing
software, which can help companies improve customer responsiveness and product quality by
reducing cycle time. Designed specifically for mid-sized manufacturing companies, Oracle(R)
FastForward Manufacturing RPM is a fixed-price, fixed-time solution comprised of Oracle
manufacturing and financial applications software, consulting, education and one year of support, all
for a cash price of $555,000 for 30 users. OFD is offering a financing alternative to the cash price
through an installment purchase plan, which is priced at $17,500 per month for 36 months. Leasing
plans are also available for the solution. Hardware, peripherals, additional user licenses, additional
software and services may also be added to the financing plans.

With Oracle FastForward Manufacturing RPM, customers receive the following 13 key Oracle
Applications Release 11 modules for 30 users:

-- Oracle Financials -- Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Payables, Oracle
Assets, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Receivables
-- Oracle Manufacturing -- Oracle Bill of Materials, Oracle Capacity,
Oracle Cost Management, Oracle Engineering, Oracle Inventory,
Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP, Oracle Work In Progress (WIP) and
Oracle Order Entry.

This new solution also features Oracle's fixed-scope FastForward implementation service, which
enables customers to implement Oracle's industry-leading applications in 90 business days or less. A
tailored education package also comes with the offering, including fifteen days of onsite end-user
training, as well as a user training repository. One year of OracleSILVER(sm) support is provided,
which includes 24x7 global telephone support and regular account management reporting.

Availability

Oracle's FastForward Manufacturing RPM offering is available through May 15, 1999. The financing
plans are subject to customer credit approval and completion of standard financing documentation.
The payment terms offered may vary due to changes in economic conditions.
