Greg, Sorry for my continuing butting in here but it is still early in this game and currently CAP based modems have moved further along the price decline curve and cost much less than DMT based modems. Paradyne has called CAP the de facto standard but the RBOC' s recently awarded a large contract to Alcatel Telecom to provide DMT based modems. I don't know much about Alcatel but they may be a target for buying.. DMT modems currently perform better because it supports a longer wire length and greater throughput. USR could easily design products for either CAP or DMT and quite possibly they see something we don't. Derek
