Did I say tangerine? I meant lime.

Refuted by no less than an expert from the Pantone color institute, an article reveals that it is lime, not tangerine, that will be the most unpopular color:

"The only risky color is the
lime. It's the iffiest. It's been very hot in the middle to latter 1990s, but
it's a color that is losing momentum."
